This is Franz Joseph Braun and his wife Franziska Fischer, parents of Johanna Braun Pittrich, from around 1890 I estimate. They were married in Alsace (now part of France) in 1837 and came to Missouri with their first seven children in 1852. They had three more children in Missouri. They died about a week apart in March, 1896. This photo was taken from a history of Cole county Missouri. I have not been able to locate an original or better quality print.
